Nobody thought that I could make it or be someone outside of our village in Kenya. For sure, not as a professional athlete. But sports gave me strength and goals in life. Years of intense training and I’ve proven otherwise. Now I have a big list of things of achievements and a lovely husband to be proud of!
If I’ll ever make it big as an athlete or win the lottery, I will definitely give back to my country. Especially supporting young women. They are the mums of tomorrow. On their shoulders, the future of our continent lies.
From this mission came the idea for the Lornah Foundationand Lornah Sports. I couldn't any high-performance sports clothing for women that also looked sexy. So here we are! The first African sports brand, designed by women athletes. Bright and colorful!
More important is that with the BUY1GIVE1 campaign you directly support young girls in Kenya with scholarships and new sports clothing. And by wearing Lornah, you take a stand, and encourage women worldwide to keep on exercising, power-through and prove otherwise.
You can do this! I believe in you.
